Airport Flyer

The Airport Flyer is an express bus service that runs from Upper Hutt, through Queensgate in Lower Hutt to the centre of Wellington and then to Wellington International Airport and back.

 
The Airport Flyer buses were purpose built for the route with leather style coach style seats with extra leg room and air conditioning for comfort. Easier access to and larger luggage storage makes travelling to and from the airport with luggage easier. Wide doors and low floors provide better wheel chair and push chair access and CCTV provides for increased passenger security.

In bus TV screens display route information, weather and news updates along with flight arrival and departure information from Wellington airport. Automatic announcements advise passengers of the next stop.

 
From Monday 22 June the Airport Flyer will run every 15 minutes, every day between the Airport and Queensgate. The services that continue to and from Upper Hutt run once an hour. The last departure from the airport is at 9.30pm.
